Job description

Implement and document network changes for assigned tasks
Assist with macro and micro network segmentation design and implementation
Integrate OT network segmentation with IT network segmentation
Support implementation of OT security hardware and software
Develop network security assessment requirements for IT and OT devices
Respond to network outages and security incidents
Provide weekly status reports to the Network Services Manager
Participate in secure network architecture planning and implementation

Requirements

5+ years of experience in transportation design, networking, applications, and integration
5+ years of experience in network and network security design and implementation
5+ years of experience with:
TCP/IP
Network security protocols
Routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP)
VLANs, MPLS, VRF
Cisco SD-WAN
SNMP
Wireless infrastructure (URWB, WiFi, Cellular, 4G/5G)
Cisco FTD/FMC
5+ years of experience with:
Cisco XDR
Cisco Secure Access
Cisco Secure Endpoint
Cisco Network Analytics
Cisco ISE
NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) and ITS profile
5+ years of experience supporting:
Traffic signal controllers
Conflict monitors
Traffic preemption devices
Traffic sensors
CCTV and video camera systems
Connected vehicle technologies

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Cisco Cybervision
Experience with Cisco Catalyst Center
Experience with Cisco ZTNA
Cisco Certification (CCNP or higher preferred), * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field OR equivalent work experience

Additional Details:

Fully onsite role in Columbia, SC
Statewide travel may be required
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Strong written and verbal communication skills required
