Job description
Behind every great sales rep is a Solutions Engineer who makes the magic happen. As an Enterprise Solutions Engineer, you will own the technical relationship with customers while partnering closely with your Client Executive to drive business outcomes, winning together across both existing accounts and net-new opportunities. You will design, architect, and configure solutions across complex enterprise environments, manage multiple deals at various stages (from new logos to long-term strategic accounts), and bring the art of what’s possible to every engagement. This role blends deep technical expertise, strong channel collaboration, and a high-energy, team-first culture where we work hard, win together, and actually enjoy doing it.
Requirements
- Proven (4 year +) success supporting enterprise or large customers in complex sales cycles (preferred financial services sectors experience)
- Engage customers in forward-looking conversations around AI readiness, data strategy, hybrid cloud, and disaster recovery
- Strong knowledge of Data Storage, Data Protection/Continuity (including Cyber), Virtualization, Containers and ideally Cloud architectures.
- Strong discovery, communication, and presentation skills, able to translate technical capabilities into clear business value
- Collaborate with client executives, channel partners and specialists to deliver seamless outcomes and drive demand generation, enablement, and joint selling motions.
- Demonstrate ownership of issues / solutions / architectures in customer or partner environments and work with extended team to help resolve for delivering the highest customer experience.
- Strong expertise in Technical Pre-Sales, with the ability to do hands-on POCs and conduct technical workshops
- Ability to assist in creating ROI/TCO overview and competitive advantages of solution offerings
- Excellent written and verbal Dutch/English communication skills, including making technology oriented commercial presentations and answering RFPs with partners or sales.
- Maintain deep knowledge of NetApp’s portfolio and competitive landscape to guide customer strategy.
- Partner closely with internal teams to ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction.
- Travel to the prospective customer’s sites & locations as necessary.
- Knowledge of NetApp’s competitive and alliance landscape would be an added advantage, Typically requires a minimum of 6 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 5 years and a Master’s degree
