Oracle Test Lead

Provide functional and technical leadership as the Oracle Cloud quality engineering SME and guide the testing team across planning, execution, and closure activities. Define the end-to-end test strategy, scope, estimates, schedule, resource plan, entry and exit criteria, and quality metrics for Oracle Cloud releases. Lead functional, integration, regression, UAT, and production validation across Oracle Cloud HCM, Financials, Procurement, and PPM modules. Ensure end-to-end coverage for Oracle Time and Labour, Core HR, General Ledger, Advanced Collections, Expenses, Receivables, Tax, Payables, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management. Oversee testing of Sourcing, Purchasing, Supplier Portal, Project Costing, Project Billing, and Project Foundation processes. Review and approve test scenarios, test scripts, test data, automation coverage, traceability, and defect evidence based on release changes and impact assessments. Lead defect triage, risk assessment, escalation, retesting, release-readiness reviews, and quality sign-off recommendations. Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, functional consultants, integration teams, developers, and automation engineers to resolve risks and improve coverage. Mentor testers, allocate work, monitor delivery against milestones, and drive consistent standards, reusable assets, and continuous improvement. Provide concise test status, defect trends, risks, dependencies, and release-quality reporting to program leadership.

Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes, upstream and downstream integrations, data validation, and defect management. Experience creating test strategies, estimates, plans, traceability, quality dashboards, and release-readiness criteria. Ability to lead SIT, UAT, regression, quarterly release testing, and production validation in complex enterprise environments. Working knowledge of test management and automation tools, with the ability to identify and prioritize automation opportunities. Strong leadership, stakeholder management, facilitation, risk management, communication, and team mentoring skills. Experience working in Agile or SAFe delivery models and collaborating across distributed teams.

Experience: 10+ years of Oracle Cloud / Oracle ERP quality engineering or testing experience, including lead responsibilities. Demonstrated experience leading complex functional, integration, regression, UAT, and release-testing programs. Strong business-process knowledge across HCM, Finance, Procurement, Supplier Management, and Projects. Experience managing test delivery, dependencies, defects, quality metrics, and stakeholder reporting across multiple workstreams.
