IT Technical Support & Troubleshooting - Direct Hire - $50k-$75k Depending on experience. Job is in Lawrence Kansas. Great environment! Apply Today!

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

  • Provide remote and onsite technical support to clients.

  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, and operating system issues.

  • Respond to support requests in accordance with company service level agreements (SLAs).

  • Escalate complex issues when appropriate while maintaining ownership of client communication.

  • Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and client interactions accurately.

Systems Administration

  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows desktops, laptops, and servers.

  • Manage Microsoft 365 environments, including user accounts, email, licensing, and security settings.

  • Perform system updates, patch management, and routine maintenance.

  • Monitor system health and proactively identify potential issues.

  • Manage backup solutions and verify successful data recovery processes.

Network & Infrastructure Support

  • Support firewalls, switches, wireless networks, and internet connectivity.

  • Assist with network installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting.

Cybersecurity

  • Manage endpoint protection, email security, MFA, and security awareness initiatives.

Project Work

  • Participate in client technology projects including:

o Server deployments

o Microsoft 365 migrations

o Network upgrades

o Cloud migrations

o Hardware refreshes

o New office buildouts and relocations

  • Coordinate with project managers and senior engineers to ensure successful project completion.

Client Service

  • Build positive relationships with clients through professional communication and exceptional service.

  • Educate clients on technology best practices and available solutions.

  • Serve as a trusted technology resource and representative of company.

  • Maintain a customer-first mindset in all interactions.

Requirements

Required

  • 2+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or managed services.

  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.
