Job description

We are seeking an experienced AWS Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Architect to design, build, and automate cloud environments and deployment pipelines for a mission-critical contact center platform based on Amazon Web Services services including Amazon Connect, Amazon Lex, and AWS Lambda. The architect will be responsible for rapidly provisioning new environments by replicating existing infrastructure and establishing robust CI/CD pipelines in and . The deployment lifecycle will support controlled promotion through the following environments: This role will define enterprise-grade Infrastructure as Code standards, reusable automation templates, deployment governance, and environment consistency to accelerate software delivery and improve platform reliability., Infrastructure Architecture & Automation

  • Design and implement Infrastructure as Code solutions using

, , or . * Replicate and provision complete AWS environments.

  • Build reusable, parameterized modules to deploy:

  • Amazon Connect instances, contact flows, queues, routing profiles, and integrations
  • Amazon Lex bots, intents, slot types, and aliases
  • AWS Lambda functions and supporting IAM roles
  • Amazon S3 buckets for recordings, prompts, and artifacts
  • Amazon DynamoDB tables and Amazon CloudWatch dashboards
  • AWS Identity and Access Management policies and cross-account roles
  • Ensure environment parity across all environments.

CI/CD Pipeline Design (GitHub)

  • Architect and implement multi-stage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
  • Automate validation, security checks, packaging, deployment approvals, and promotion across environments.
  • Configure environment-specific variables, secrets, and approval gates.
  • Integrate:

Contact Center Platform Engineering

  • Automate deployment and version control of Amazon Connect contact flows and configuration.
  • Deploy and promote Amazon Lex bots and aliases across environments.
  • Package and deploy AWS Lambda functions supporting IVR and contact center integrations.
  • Manage dependencies and integration points with call recording, analytics, and Amazon Connect Contact Lens.

Governance, Security & Best Practices

  • Implement least-privilege IAM and secure secret management using AWS Secrets Manager and AWS Systems Manager Parameter Store.
  • Establish tagging, naming, and cost allocation standards.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational security and audit requirements.
  • Implement automated policy and compliance validation.

Documentation & Collaboration

  • Create architecture diagrams, module documentation, and operational runbooks.
  • Mentor engineering teams on IaC standards and GitHub-based deployment workflows.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, SRE, and contact center stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of cloud architecture and DevOps experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on AWS Infrastructure as Code implementation.
  • Deep expertise with CloudFormation, AWS CDK, or Terraform.
  • Strong experience with GitHub Actions and enterprise CI/CD design.
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon Connect, Amazon Lex, and AWS Lambda.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS networking, IAM, and multi-account architectures.
  • Experience with automated testing, code quality, and security scanning.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills., * AWS certifications such as Amazon Web Services Certification Solutions Architect Professional or DevOps Engineer Professional.
  • Experience with AWS Control Tower and AWS Organizations.
  • Familiarity with regulated environments such as healthcare or financial services.
