Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior .NET Web Developer to support a state client in an Agile development environment.

Requirements

The selected consultant will work closely with IT supervisors, project managers, and developers on requirements gathering, application design, development, testing, deployment, and technical support. The role will focus on developing new applications and modernizing legacy applications using C#, ASP.NET Core MVC, Web API, Windows Forms, SQL Server, and N-Tier architecture. Key Requirements:

10+ years of .NET Web Development / ASP.NET Core MVC, including 4+ years of ASP.NET Core MVC
10+ years of ASP.NET and C#
10+ years of SQL Server development, including queries, tables, views, stored procedures, functions, and optimization
10+ years of Entity Framework, .NET Framework 4+, WCF/SOA, and N-Tier architecture
10+ years of TFS for code repository, code promotion, and recovery
5+ years of Agile development using TFS/Azure DevOps
5+ years of SSRS/SSIS and MVC accessibility
5+ years developing mobile-compliant applications
5+ years with Visual Studio, including 2+ years with Visual Studio 2019
5+ years of TFS/Azure DevOps, Git, Boards, and CI/CD pipelines
2+ years of REST API and C# .NET Core/.NET 5
2+ years of TDD/application testing strategies
AJAX-enabled ASP.NET controls experience is highly desired

Soft Skills: Strong communication, leadership, collaboration, negotiation, analytical/problem-solving, prioritization, facilitation, and mentoring skills are required. Candidates should be comfortable working independently as well as within a cross-functional Agile team. Additional: Candidates must demonstrate strong technical competency during the interview. Background check will be conducted by the client.
