Job description

  • Perform manual testing of data modeling, metadata, and related workflows.
  • Create test plans, test cases, execute testing, and manage defects.
  • Review data modeling processes, tools, standards, and governance.
  • Develop a phased test automation strategy and roadmap.
  • Partner with Data Engineers, Data Modelers, Governance, and Platform teams.
  • Validate data models, DDL generation, metadata, versioning, and security.

Requirements

  • 7+ years QA/Data Testing experience
  • Data Modeling & Logical Data Modeling
  • Manual & Automation Testing
  • Java or Python, SQL
  • Advanced Excel
  • AI/ML knowledge
  • Cucumber is a plus
  • Mortgage industry experience preferred, * 7+ years of QA, Data Testing, Data Modeling, or Data Engineering experience.
  • Strong understanding of logical/physical data modeling.
  • Manual & automation testing experience.
  • Strong SQL and Python/Java skills.
  • Experience with test automation, CI/CD, and data quality validation.
  • Advanced Excel and strong analytical/communication skills.
  • Experience with Agile, SIT, UAT, and System Testing.
