Job description
- Perform manual testing of applications, features, and enhancements.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and develop detailed test scenarios and test cases.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects through resolution.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
- Provide clear and concise status updates on testing progress, risks, and defects.
- Work independently to plan and manage assigned testing activities.
- Participate in test planning, requirement reviews, and release validation.
- Ensure software meets quality, functionality, and business requirements.
Requirements
- We are looking for an experienced QA Tester with 10+ years of hands-on experience in manual software testing.
- The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, be articulate, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision., * 10+ years of experience in software QA/manual testing.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and QA processes.
- Hands-on experience creating and executing test cases and test scenarios.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to articulate technical and functional issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage assignments with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Preferred:
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience with SQL/database validation.
- Exposure to API testing and basic automation concepts.
- Experience working with enterprise-level applications.
