Job description
- Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hotel grounds, guest areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
- Monitor access points and support access-control procedures for guests, employees, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
- Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Requirements
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
