Requirements

  • Experience in working in a MacOS or Linux environment is essential.
  • Experience in a Lead Developer or equivalent leadership position, with a strong background in Scala development.
  • Hands-on experience in developing microservices with Play Framework.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (eg, Git), and modern dev tooling, such as IntelliJ, VS Code, sbt (Scala).
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience in participating and influencing architectural decisions across large codebases.
  • TDD advocate.
  • Prior gov/public sector experience.
