Job description

The Headteacher and Governors of Morriston Comprehensive School are seeking to appoint an inspirational, enthusiastic and highly motivated Department Leader for Computing, Computer Science and ICT to join our successful and ambitious school community.

This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding classroom practitioner with the vision, drive and passion to lead and further develop a department that plays a vital role in preparing young people for an increasingly digital world. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership for Computing, Computer Science and ICT, ensuring that the curriculum is engaging, innovative and responsive to the evolving demands of education, industry and the wider community. They will work collaboratively with staff across the school to develop digital learning and foster a culture of creativity, problem-solving and technological confidence amongst our pupils.
