Sienna Systems is seeking a driven Software Test & Automation Engineer to join the Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) Test Evaluation and Certification II Services (TEC II) team at Fort Huachuca, Arizona, supporting Developmental Test & Evaluation (DT&E) of the Defense Logistics Agencyās Enterprise Contract Writing Module (ECWM).
ECWM is the cloud-based contract writing and management platform standardizing how the Department of Defenseās ā4th Estateā agencies run procurement worldwide - from requirements and source selection through contract award. The software you test moves real contracting operations across the enterprise.
You will sit on a working Agile team alongside SCRUM developers, system engineers, and program management, designing and executing the functional, integration, and regression testing that decides whether a release ships - with room to grow the automation side of the practice., * Analyze and validate user stories, technical specifications, and functional requirements to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Design, write, and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios for functional, integration, and regression testing phases.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, at times collaborating with development teams to recreate issues or perform root-cause analysis.
- Work closely with teammates, SCRUM teams, software developers, and program management to ensure alignment on quality goals and project deliverables.
- Design, execute, and maintain functional test cases to validate that application features meet established requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Assist in the development, maintenance, and execution of automated testing scripts to increase test coverage and reduce manual testing effort.
- Actively participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to provide testing status and quality metrics.
Requirements
- Interim DoD Secret security clearance or above
- Bachelorās degree and at least 4 years of experience; or an Associateās degree and at least 6 years of experience, or 8 years of experience.
- At least one professional certification in the area of specialization
- Understanding of Agile/SCRUM principles and experience working within sprint-based development cycles
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and interpersonal
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks within restricted timeframes
- Detail-oriented, able to work independently, self-motivated, and a proactive team player, * SCRUM, Leading SAFe, T&E, test automation, and/or AI in T&E certifications
- Experience supporting DT&E of DoD business systems
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining automated test scripts
