Job description
As our Technical Program Manager, Infrastructure you will own end-to-end program delivery across the org - driving alignment between internal teams, managing external vendor relationships, and ensuring that every dependency, risk, and milestone is visible to the people who need to act on it. - Optimize engineering and operational efficiency by continuously refining program management processes.
- Foster a culture of accountability and transparency by regularly communicating with executive and engineering leaders on project status, risks, and opportunities.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor progress, success, and strategic alignment.
- Leverage technical understanding of hardware, ASIC, and software integration to facilitate cross-disciplinary communication and resolution of technical issues.
- Operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities and emerging challenges.

- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills that influence without authority.
- A proactive approach to identifying risks and opportunities for process improvement.
- Experience using program management tools and methodologies such as Google Workspace and JIRA.
Strong candidates may also have experience with:
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline (advanced degree preferred).

How we’re different
Etched believes in the Bitter Lesson. We think most of the progress in the AI field has come from using more FLOPs to train and run models, and the best way to get more FLOPs is to build model-specific hardware. Larger and larger training runs encourage companies to consolidate around fewer model architectures, which creates a market for single-model ASICs.
About the company
Etched is building the world’s first AI inference system purpose-built for transformers - delivering over 10x higher performance and dramatically lower cost and latency than a B200. With Etched ASICs, you can build products that would be impossible with GPUs, like real-time video generation models and extremely deep & parallel chain-of-thought reasoning agents. Backed by hundreds of millions from top-tier investors and staffed by leading engineers, Etched is redefining the infrastructure layer for the fastest growing industry in history.
