Job description

  • Principal Experience Designer plays a key role in shaping the design and user experience of the New Technology Suite.
  • A suite of tools that enables homebuyers to explore, personalize, and select features for dream home.
  • Focuses on defining and refining a seamless, intuitive experience that reflects the luxury brand.
  • Building on the design system.
  • Position emphasizes digital experiences that make complex offerings clear, elegant, and effortless.
  • Primary Responsibilities:
  • Drive visual and interaction design for the New Technology Suite, ensuring alignment with the company’s design system and brand standards.
  • Collaborate with development partners to translate design concepts into high-quality, customer-facing tools.
  • Create user flows, wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity designs that meet both user needs and business goals.
  • Support the rollout and refinement of design patterns that enhance usability, clarity, and consistency.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and evolution of the company’s design system.
  • Manage assigned design deliverables throughout the project lifecycle, from exploration through final handoff.
  • Partner with the Creative Director to deliver a unified and high-end experience across the platform.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience designing digital products, ideally consumer-facing.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating elegant UI design, UX expertise, and high standards of visual execution.
  • Proficiency in Figma (and similar tools), with experience working in or contributing to design systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to deliver polished work under tight timelines.
  • Effective collaborator with excellent communication and feedback integration skills.
  • Required Skills:
  • Expert-level visual designer.
  • Expert-level in usability.
  • A portfolio with complex, shipped projects that show depth of solutions.
  • Strategic thinking with ability to solve for scale.
  • Large-scale initiatives, shaping product direction, and advocating for design at the leadership table.
  • Required:
  • Must provide portfolio at time of submission.
