Job description

We are seeking an experienced ForgeRock Developer with strong Java development expertise to support a banking client in Downtown Houston. The ideal candidate will have advanced-level experience with ForgeRock, along with hands-on development experience using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes. The candidate should have strong experience building, integrating, deploying, and supporting enterprise applications and identity-related solutions in a cloud environment. Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools and practices throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is also required. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, configure, integrate, and maintain solutions using ForgeRock technologies.
  • Develop and enhance enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Design and implement scalable Microservices and RESTful APIs.
  • Work closely with application, security, infrastructure, and architecture teams to integrate ForgeRock solutions with enterprise applications and services.
  • Develop, test, troubleshoot, and deploy software components across development, test, and production environments.
  • Leverage AWS cloud services to develop and deploy scalable and highly available applications.
  • Work with AWS services including EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and EKS.
  • Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployments using Kubernetes.
  • Participate in application design, coding, code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and production support.
  • Utilize AI-assisted development tools responsibly throughout the SDLC for coding, debugging, test generation, documentation, code analysis, and technical problem solving.
  • Analyze technical requirements and translate business requirements into secure and scalable technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot application, integration, authentication, and deployment issues and perform root-cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, QA engineers, DevOps teams, security teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Follow enterprise coding standards, security practices, development methodologies, and deployment processes.

Requirements

  • ForgeRock Advanced level, 6 9 years of experience
  • Strong Java development experience.
  • Strong experience with Spring Boot.
  • Hands-on experience developing Microservices.
  • Strong experience with AWS cloud services, including:

  • AWS EC2
  • AWS Lambda
  • AWS API Gateway
  • AWS S3
  • AWS EKS
  • Strong experience with Docker.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
  • Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with enterprise application development and integration.
  • Professional experience using AI-assisted development tools throughout the SDLC.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in the banking or financial services domain.
  • Experience with enterprise identity and access management solutions.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with cloud-native application development and deployment.
  • Familiarity with secure software development and application security practices.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Experience supporting production applications in an enterprise environment.
