Job description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Healthcare Project Coordinator to provide project-level support for complex healthcare and direct-service programs. The Project Coordinator will support multiple workstreams throughout the project lifecycle, including planning, scope definition, implementation, execution, and delivery. The role will work closely with internal departments, government agencies, external vendors, and program leadership to monitor progress, coordinate deliverables, identify risks, and support successful project outcomes., * Provide project-level support for key workstreams within complex direct-service programs.
- Support all phases of the project lifecycle, including planning, scope definition, design, execution, implementation, and delivery.
- Develop and maintain templates, trackers, and tools to monitor project progress.
- Coordinate the collection and organization of project information, metrics, and measurable outcomes.
- Manage the distribution of project status updates and other project-related information.
- Monitor project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and overall progress.
- Proactively identify and escalate project issues, risks, dependencies, and potential delays.
- Serve as a point of contact for internal healthcare departments, government agencies, and contracted vendors.
- Assist with planning, coordinating, and conducting training sessions.
- Develop and maintain training materials and supporting documentation.
- Provide onsite support related to project implementation and oversight.
- Provide policy and operational support and guidance within assigned workstreams.
- Assist in developing strategies to improve service delivery and operational effectiveness.
- Assist with reviewing and processing vendor invoices.
- Provide recommendations and support related to budget planning and resource management.
- Work under the direction of program managers, initiative leads, and other relevant leadership.
Requirements
- 3+ years of program or project management experience.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Strong overall computer and technology skills.
- Experience with or knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate technical or complex information to different audiences.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to support and lead organizational change within a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals, teams, organizations, and external partners.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to maintain transparency, accountability, and professionalism in all work products.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a strong work ethic.
- Experience managing multiple external contractors or vendors is strongly preferred.
- NYC-area residency preferred., * Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
