Job description
Insight Global is seeking a Test & Integration Lead to support a federal defense program focused on the development, integration, and testing of advanced tactical communications and data networking systems. This individual will serve as the technical lead for test planning, execution, and reporting efforts across complex system-of-systems environments. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in tactical communications, tactical data links, network integration, and verification and validation testing within a defense or military environment.
This role requires a highly collaborative leader who can coordinate across engineering teams, program management, operators, customers, and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery and operational readiness of integrated capabilities.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Lead planning, coordination, execution, and reporting of integration, verification, validation, and acceptance testing activities.
Develop and maintain test strategies, master test plans, detailed test procedures, schedules, and resource requirements.
Coordinate test events across engineering, program management, operational users, customers, and external organizations.
Manage and maintain lab environments supporting multiple concurrent test efforts.
Support integration and testing of tactical communications systems, mission systems, gateways, networks, simulators, and external interfaces.
Analyze system performance, test results, logs, and network behaviors to identify failures and root causes.
Investigate communication, network, software, hardware, configuration, and interoperability issues.
Track testing risks, technical issues, schedule impacts, and resource constraints while providing recommendations to stakeholders.
Brief senior leadership and customers on test readiness, status, risks, findings, and overall program performance.
Document test results, discrepancies, limitations, and corrective action recommendations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering field
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance.
-3-8+ years of experience supporting system integration, verification, validation, and acceptance testing.
Experience developing test strategies, test plans, test procedures, and formal test reports.
Strong understanding of tactical communications architectures and their operational employment.
-Experience with tactical networking technologies (b. Understanding of Link 16, JREAP, VMF, SADL or other relevant TDL technologies.)
-Experience integrating and testing complex system-of-systems environments involving communications systems, networks, gateways, mission systems, simulators, and external interfaces.
-Ability to analyze network behavior, test data, logs, and troubleshooting outputs to identify root causes and system impacts.
