Job description

  • Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot low-voltage cabling and related connections.
  • Install and support electronic door hardware, access control devices, power supplies, and related field equipment.
  • Install and configure security system components, including PCBs, controllers, readers, cameras, and associated devices.
  • Configure and support security software platforms, including access control, video surveillance, and programmable logic controller systems.
  • Perform system testing, commissioning, service, and documentation in accordance with project requirements.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, project managers, vendors, and internal team members.
  • Work efficiently in active customer environments while maintaining a clean, safe, and professional work area.
  • Travel to customer sites as required, including overnight stays.

Requirements

Griffon Security Technologies, LLC is seeking an experienced Security Technician to support the installation, configuration, and service of integrated security systems. This is a customer-facing role that requires strong technical ability, clear communication, professionalism, and efficient field execution., * Experience with low-voltage cabling, terminations, and field device installation.

  • Experience installing electronic door hardware and low-voltage power supplies.
  • Ability to install, replace, and troubleshoot PCBs and related security system components.
  • Working knowledge of access control systems, video surveillance systems, and related security software.
  • Experience with programmable logic controllers is .
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel, including overnight travel as needed.
