Backend Developer - INTL Brazil

Insight Global is seeking a Backend Developer for a leading ad-tech client. This individual will own the development of scalable backend applications using Rust, build and integrate APIs, and design efficient database solutions. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong cloud development experience who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and takes ownership of features from design through deployment.

3+ years of experience building web applications with Rust

2+ years of experience building and integrating RESTful APIs

Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and database design

Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms

Experience leveraging AI tools in the software development process

Experience developing and deploying cloud-based solutions (AWS or similar)

Ability to work in rapid development environments with tight deadlines

Expert-level Rust development knowledge

Strong server-side development experience

Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions Advertising technology (AdTech) industry experience

Component and data architecture design experience

Performance monitoring and optimization experience

Experience evaluating products and making buy vs. build recommendations

Experience driving technical debt prioritization and remediation

Strong process improvement and system streamlining background
