Job description
As the Senior Software Product Manager, you own the strategy, business success, and lifecycle of our retail device life cycle software solutions. You combine market insights, customer needs, and technical innovation to deliver profitable software products and solutions for global markets. Working closely with R&D, sales, service, marketing, and international subsidiaries, you drive product direction from concept to market success.
- Full business ownership for the software product, including revenue growth, profitability, pricing strategy, and lifecycle cost optimization. Conduct market and competitive analyses to derive strategic product decisions.
- Collaborate closely with software development, marketing, sales, service, and global subsidiaries.
- Create and prioritize technical requirements within agile development processes.
- Presentations of the software and features to sales organizations and customers.
- Support sales in complex software offerings and customized solutions.
- Define and manage services and offerings related to the software ecosystem.
- Plan and manage marketing communication and product positioning.
- Ensure product and software quality across releases and implementations.
- Provide regular reporting on product performance, market trends, and customer feedback.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in software product management, software solutions, or software development.
- Strong understanding of software architectures, APIs, integrations, cloud and enterprise software environments.
- Experience with agile methodologies, requirement management, and product lifecycle management.
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to balance customer value, technical feasibility, and business outcomes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills in an international environment.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
