Job description
- Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions aligned with business and customer requirements
- Configure and customize ServiceNow ITSM applications and related platform capabilities
- Develop custom applications, workflows, Flow Designer flows, and automation solutions
- Build and maintain integrations using REST APIs, SOAP web services, Integration Hub, and MID Server
- Implement and maintain ACLs, UI Policies, Client Scripts, Script Includes, Scheduled Jobs, and Notifications
- Design scalable, reusable, and maintainable ServiceNow components following platform best practices
- Participate in solution architecture discussions and provide technical recommendations
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and governance guidelines
- Mentor and support junior developers to enhance team capabilities
- Support ServiceNow upgrades and ensure application compatibility across releases
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize platform performance and stability
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, estimation, demos, and retrospectives
- Drive continuous improvements and ensure successful delivery of ServiceNow projects
Requirements
- Experience - 5.5+ years
- Strong experience in ServiceNow ITSM implementation, customization, and development
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow scripting, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, ACLs, Scheduled Jobs, and Notifications
- Strong ServiceNow development experience using JavaScript and Glide APIs
- Experience in developing custom scoped applications using App Engine
- Hands-on experience with Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Update Sets, and Scoped Applications
- Experience developing integrations using REST APIs, SOAP services, Integration Hub, and MID Server
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow ITSM processes and best practices
- Experience with Service Portal; exposure to UI Builder will be an added advantage
- Experience in designing scalable and reusable ServiceNow solutions for enterprise environments
- Exposure to CSM or other ServiceNow modules is preferred
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to mentor junior developers and work in an Agile delivery environment
- CSA certification along with any two ServiceNow Mainline Certifications is mandatory, Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
