IT PM - Customer Billing

We are seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead a strategic initiative focused on modernizing a long-standing customer billing and payment program. This program, first implemented in 2013, requires a comprehensive revamp of its billing methodology. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading the evaluation and redesign of the program, supporting analytical modeling efforts, coordinating with business and technology stakeholders, and driving the implementation of an updated solution through to regulatory approval and enrollment., * Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, and implementation of a modernized customer billing program.

• Partner with business, regulatory, operations, and technology stakeholders to evaluate the existing billing methodology and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate the analysis of historical customer data to support the development of updated billing calculations and business rules.
• Facilitate cross-functional teams in reviewing current-state processes and defining future-state program requirements.
• Drive the creation, validation, and documentation of new billing calculation models and supporting business logic.
• Support the preparation of materials and recommendations for regulatory review and approval.
• Manage project schedules, resources, risks, dependencies, and milestones while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Lead stakeholder communications and provide regular project status updates to leadership.
• Oversee implementation planning, testing, change management, and program enrollment activities following approval of the redesigned program.

• 7+ years of experience managing complex IT projects and business transformation initiatives.
• Strong senior-level IT Project Management experience.
• Demonstrated success leading data-intensive projects involving analysis, business process redesign, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement.
• Strong data analytics and data-driven decision-making background that is tool agnostic.
• Proven experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and executive communications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience presenting findings to senior leadership.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management certification is strongly preferred., * Experience supporting utility, energy, or customer billing, payment, or revenue-related programs.
• Familiarity with regulatory or compliance approval processes, particularly within regulated industries.
• Experience leading business process and program redesign initiatives.
• Experience utilizing Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
