First Line Support

A leading organization operating in a complex and technology-driven environment is seeking a Senior Technical IT Expert to provide advanced infrastructure support, ensure operational continuity, and act as a trusted technical advisor across ICT operations. The role combines hands-on technical expertise, vendor coordination, incident management, and mentoring responsibilities to support a stable and secure IT landscape. Responsibilities

• Manage IT infrastructure, including configuration, maintenance, and patch management activities.
• Coordinate with external technical vendors and service providers to ensure effective delivery and support.
• Investigate and resolve complex, critical, or recurring technical incidents.
• Coach and support first-line ICT support teams, providing guidance and knowledge transfer.
• Maintain backup, recovery, business continuity processes, and technical documentation.
• Provide technical advice, risk assessments, and recommendations to support informed decision-making.

• Extensive experience in IT infrastructure management and technical support within complex environments.
• Strong knowledge of system configuration, patch management, backup, and recovery processes.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical incidents and recurring issues.
• Experience working with external vendors and coordinating technical service delivery.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills, with the ability to support and mentor support teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess technical risks and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Fluency in English and Dutch mandatory.
