Job description

Parallel is growing rapidly and in need of an experienced front end development lead-someone to take our web properties from their early iterations to a higher bar of excellence as we expand to serve more customers.

You’ll design, build, and refine the web experiences that showcase what our powerful APIs are capable of. You’ll focus on three key properties:

  • Parallel.ai - our marketing website
  • Platform.parallel.ai - our developer playground and dashboard
  • Docs.parallel.ai - our technical documentation

Responsibilities

  • Lead web deployment and hosting operations across our web properties
  • Work with product and marketing teams to develop compelling web experiences that showcase Parallel’s core messaging and product features
  • Collaborate with dev rel and forward-deployed engineers on demos and cookbooks that help developers understand technical concepts like structured web search, confidence scoring, and multi-hop agentic research
  • Own the technical foundation and architecture decisions for our web presence as we scale

Requirements

You’re an expert at modern front-end frameworks, maintainable UI architecture, and building UIs that feel intuitive, fast, and beautiful. You have strong production experience with TypeScript, modern CSS, Vercel, and Sanity (or similar headless CMS platforms)., You understand responsive design, web performance, and accessibility. You can read API documentation, work effectively with backend teams, and have good instincts for what makes a developer tool feel intuitive versus frustrating.
