AI Software Engineer

• Help shape how the organisation uses AI across the software delivery lifecycle
• Take practical AI use cases from idea through to production
• Support engineers and product teams as they adopt new ways of working
• Create guidance, examples and reusable patterns that make AI easier to use well
• Ensure alignment with architectural patterns, coding standards and performance
• Coach and facilitate as much as you build

• 3+ years’ experience in software engineering or application development
• Experience with AI-driven engineering tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, Amazon Q/Kiro)
• Experience with agentic AI workflows and steering techniques for reliable automation
• Strong OOP skills (Java, Python or C#)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Right to work in Northern Ireland (no sponsorship available)

Desirable

• Familiarity with RAG architectures, embeddings and context management
• Full-stack development experience (front end, back end, APIs, databases)
• Experience with containerisation/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure or GCP
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and QA processes
• Awareness of security and compliance best practice
