Web Engineer

We’re partnering with a well-known digital business looking to bring in a Web Software Engineer to support a number of exciting web development and digital platform initiatives.

You’ll be joining a collaborative engineering team responsible for developing, enhancing and maintaining customer-facing applications used at scale. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, working across modern web technologies, and contributing to high-quality software delivery., * Develop and maintain modern web applications using TypeScript and React.

• Build scalable, reusable and well-documented software solutions.
• Support the enhancement of existing applications and platforms.
• Collaborate with developers, product teams and stakeholders to deliver business-critical features.
• Improve application performance, reliability and maintainability.
• Contribute to code reviews, testing and engineering best practices.
• Assist with the modernisation and optimisation of existing systems.

• Proven experience working as a Web Software Engineer, Front End Engineer or Full Stack Engineer with 4-6 years of experience.
• Strong commercial experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Hands-on development experience with React.
• Experience working across modern web applications and platforms.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Comfortable working within agile delivery teams.
