Our mechanical design capabilities include the packaging of embedded systems, tooling design, and manufacturing process development., * Fabricate initial prototype wire harnesses from engineering drawings and specifications, ensuring build quality throughout.

  • Lead component inventory, including ordering, receiving, and verifying parts against purchase orders.
  • Create and maintain travelers to track harness serial numbers and document QC checks for each harness built.
  • Provide design-for-manufacturing (DFM) feedback to design engineers to improve build efficiency, repeatability, and cost.
  • Run the Cadonix Arcadia part database and team access/user permissions, including part creation and quality control of part data.
  • Maintain and organize the assembly area layout, tools, and calibration records to optimize workflow efficiency and safety.
  • Collaborate closely during the prototype and build phases, supporting process improvement initiatives and maintaining clear documentation.

We are seeking a motivated Technical Specialist with hands-on wire harness fabrication skills to join our agile team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in our design services business, building high-quality prototypes and providing manufacturability feedback while working closely with design engineers and project managers to bring designs from concept to production-ready builds., * BS degree in Electrical Engineering Technology with 0-2 years of experience is required. Internship experience counts. Alternatively, candidates with an Electrical Technician background and 0-5 years of relevant hands-on experience are also eligible. This includes those with an Associate’s degree, technical certification, or equivalent trade training.

  • Strong understanding of wire routing, crimping, soldering, and harness assembly techniques, with familiarity with hand tools and test/calibration equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and bills of materials (BOM); awareness of industry standards (e.g., IPC/WHMA-A-620) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Cadonix Arcadia software (or willingness to be trained), including part database management, user administration, and traveler/serial number tracking.
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and a “get it done” attitude, able to work effectively with minimal guidance.
  • Comfortable handling a high degree of engineering change in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing/prototyping environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate closely with engineers and project managers and run inventory/ordering tasks accurately.
  • Willing to travel up to 15% of the time to support prototype harness integration into client systems.
