Job description

Piper Companies is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to support critical infrastructure initiatives within a government-focused technology environment. The Site Reliability Engineer will be responsible for maintaining Kubernetes platforms, automating infrastructure deployments with Terraform, and enhancing overall platform reliability., * Manage and support Kubernetes clusters in production environments.

Develop and maintain Terraform-based infrastructure deployments.
Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions.
Participate in incident response and root cause analysis activities.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve system reliability.
Automate routine operational processes and infrastructure management tasks.

Requirements

Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
4+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration and troubleshooting.
Experience developing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
Familiarity with Linux systems and cloud platforms.
Knowledge of monitoring tools and production support processes.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
