Data Analyst Experience 2-5 Years Job Summary We are looking for a Data Analyst who can transform raw data into meaningful insights to support business decisions. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, experience working with large datasets, and the ability to create impactful reports and dashboards. Primary Skills SQL (Advanced querying, joins, stored procedures, performance optimisation) Power BI / Tableau (Dashboard development and data visualisation) Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Advanced Formulas) Data Analysis and Reporting Data Cleaning, Validation, and Transformation Statistical Analysis Business Intelligence (BI) Concepts Data Modelling Secondary Skills Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib) R Programming ETL Processes Data Warehousing Concepts Azure Data Factory / AWS Data Services Machine Learning Fundamentals Looker or Other BI Tools Database Management (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) Agile/Scrum Methodologies Version Control Tools (Git) Roles & Responsibilities Gather, analyse, and interpret data from multiple sources. Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualisations to monitor key business metrics. Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities through data analysis. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements. Develop automated reports and data solutions to improve operational efficiency. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting platforms. Perform ad hoc analysis to support business initiatives and strategic planning. Document data definitions, processes, and reporting methodologies. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, or a related field. Strong understanding of data analysis methodologies and reporting practices. Experience working with relational databases and BI tools. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms. Knowledge of predictive analytics and machine learning concepts. Exposure to big data technologies is an added advantage.
