The Information Technology (IT) Generalist 1 role with the Employment, Banking and Revenue Delivery Center offers an exciting opportunity to support essential statewide technology needs. DESCRIPTION OF WORK This position supports complex IT procurement activities for multiple organizations served by the Employment, Banking and Revenue Delivery Center. It plays an important role in keeping technology purchases, contracts, and financial processes organized and compliant. As an IT Generalist 1, you will perform the following duties:

• Procurement Support: Review IT purchase materials and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
• Stakeholder Coordination: Work with agency staff, vendors, and subject matter experts to move procurement actions forward
• Financial Tracking: Monitor procurement data and verify cost savings and funding needs
• Contract Management: Develop procurement documents and assist with evaluating proposals and vendor responses
• Issue Resolution: Address procurement obstacles and escalate issues when required
• Technical Assistance: Provide guidance on procurement-related matters for various IT domains

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
• Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, in office Monday and Friday. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• One year as an Information Technology Trainee or Information Technology Technician; or
• Three years of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, networking or desktop services, web site development or web site design, or other information technology support/administration services; or
• One year of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, networking or desktop services, web site development or web site design, or other information technology support/administration services, and an associate’s degree in any information technology field; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.
