Job description

We do not sell models. We provide the infrastructure that lets governments and enterprises build, validate, deploy and operate visual models they own. From pixel inputs to operational 2D and 3D outputs, under full sovereign control. Once deployed, every new sensor observation improves the customer’s understanding of reality. Wherever the mission takes place, HUNTR runs there - from SaaS and private cloud to on-premise, classified networks and edge hardware in the field We kicked off in 2020 and have secured $35 million in Series A funding from a lineup of top US and European investors, among which Microsoft M12, Point72 Ventures, Maxar, In-Q-Tel, SAFRAN, and ISAI/Capgemini. The HUNTR workflow produces 3D outputs alongside 2D detections. Customers who need full simulation fidelity consume those through game engines. Others need to open the result in a browser, navigate it and make decision. We are looking for a Frontend Engineer to build a 3D viewer inside the HUNTR application. Your Mission

  • Build the 3D viewer inside the HUNTR application that renders pipeline outputs as 3D Tiles in the browser, on the hardware analysts actually have.
  • Integrate the viewer into the end-to-end workflow. When a job finishes, the 3D result appears next to the imagery and detections that produced it, in the same interface, without a download step.
  • Design the interaction model for operational use: navigation, inspection, orientation between the 3D view and the underlying 2D data.
  • Work with the teams producing the tilesets on what the pipeline emits, so the browser consumes it directly and rendering constraints are fixed upstream rather than patched in the client.
  • Keep it performant on ordinary laptops. Tile size, texture compression, request patterns and load time are measured, not guessed.
  • Ship one viewer across SaaS, single-tenant cloud, on-premise and edge deployments.

Requirements

  • You have strong practical experience with Vue.js and building complex, stateful single-page applications.
  • You have rendered 3D geospatial content in the browser with Cesium or an equivalent library, and you have worked with 3D Tiles or a comparable tiled 3D format
  • You have solid software engineering fundamentals: HTML, CSS, TypeScript, component and integration testing, CI/CD, performance profiling.
  • You are familiar with geospatial concepts: coordinate reference systems, raster vs. vector data, tiled data structures, GeoJSON.
  • You consume REST APIs and manage asynchronous state against long-running backend jobs
  • You have a strong sense for UX in technical products. You translate a complex workflow into a clear interface without stripping out its power.
  • You are outcome-oriented and take pride in shipping interfaces that users want to work in.

Tech Stack

  • Node.js, Vue.js, TypeScript
  • Cesium, 3D Tiles
  • OpenLayers
  • Cypress
  • REST APIs
  • Docker, Kubernetes

Benefits & conditions

56000 per year Vollzeit NEU Satellite and drone imagery access is on the rise, and traditional image processing methods are struggling to keep up. We’ve never had more data, turning those pixels into trusted, measurable understanding still takes months of AI work. HUNTR reduces this to hours., * Own the surface where 3D reaches the customer: every 3D result the pipeline produces ends in your viewer.

  • Real constraints: analysts on ordinary hardware, on-premise and edge deployments, and a result that has to be usable the moment the job finishes.
  • Diverse deployment challenges: ship a single application that runs in the cloud, on classified networks, or on a laptop in the field.
  • Strong technical culture: work alongside 3D graphics engineers, ML engineers and GIS specialists solving novel problems.
  • Competitive compensation with flexible working arrangements and personalized benefits including learning opportunities, mental wellbeing programs, and healthcare.

The minimum salary is 56.000,–€ gross per year. The effective salary depends on qualification and experience and may be significantly higher!
