LATAM -Windows & Virtualization Automation Engineer

We are seeking a Windows & Virtualization Automation Engineer to support automation, systems administration, and virtualization initiatives for delivery. This role will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining automation workflows that improve operational efficiency, reduce manual effort, and support reliable Windows Server and VMware environments. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with Ansible/AAP, PowerShell, Windows Server administration, and VMware vSphere/ESXi, with the ability to partner with operations teams to identify automation opportunities and implement scalable solutions., * Design, develop, and maintain Ansible and Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform automation for server build-outs, configuration, patching, remediation, and operational workflows.

• Administer and support Windows Server environments, including patch management, WinRM configuration, troubleshooting, and automation enablement.
• Create and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate Windows administration tasks and improve operational consistency.
• Support VMware vSphere/ESXi administration activities, including provisioning, configuration, health checks, remediation, and lifecycle management.
• Analyze recurring operational tasks and identify opportunities to automate manual processes, reduce risk, and improve reliability.
• Integrate automation workflows with existing operational tooling, monitoring platforms, and change management processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to gather requirements, validate automation use cases, and support implementation activities. Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Ansible and/or Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, including writing and maintaining roles, playbooks, and job templates in production environments.
• Strong Windows Server administration experience, including patching, WinRM configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with PowerShell scripting for Windows automation and operational support.
• Hands-on VMware vSphere/ESXi administration experience, including provisioning, configuration, health checks, remediation, and virtualization lifecycle management.
• Experience identifying automation opportunities within operational environments and developing solutions that reduce manual effort.
• Ability to integrate automation with operational tooling, monitoring systems, and change management workflows.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with distributed technical teams across LATAM and U.S.-based stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications
• Understanding of agentic and AI automation concepts, including use-case discovery, workflow design, proof-of-concept development, and evaluation of operational effectiveness.
• Understanding of event-driven automation concepts, including trigger-based workflows and rule-based activations.
• Experience with REST API integration patterns, including authentication, JSON data exchange, and webhook-driven workflows.
• Familiarity with code and version management practices, including branching strategies and pull-request-based reviews. Work Location and Engagement Expectations
• Candidate must be based in LATAM and able to support collaboration with U.S.-based teams and stakeholders.
• Strong English communication skills are required for technical documentation, team collaboration, and stakeholder updates.
• Ability to work independently in a distributed environment while maintaining alignment with project timelines, operational standards, and delivery expectations.

• $86,300-146,700 per year, + $101,700-173,200 per year
