Job DescriptionMultiSafepay is a leading payment service provider, offering omnichannel and advanced payment solutions to businesses across Europe.We are innovative and fast-growing, building powerful solutions that transform the way our clients do business.We’re on a mission to make payments simple, secure, and accessible for every business.About The RoleWe’re looking for a Database Administrator (PostgreSQL) to help maintain and optimise the databases and search infrastructure that power MultiSafepay’s platform.This role is focused on database performance, reliability, and data pipeline support.You’ll work closely with our data analysts and engineering teams to keep data accurate, accessible, and fast.Job RequirementsWhat you’ll be doingMaintaining and optimising PostgreSQL databases & data warehousesMonitoring database performance, and diagnosing and resolving bottlenecks and inefficienciesSupporting and helping automate ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loadingEnsuring data integrity, security, and compliance with industry standardsWorking closely with data analysts to ensure they have well-structured, accurate data for reportingCollaborating with the Senior Data Engineer on pipeline design and architecture decisionsWhat You’ll Need3+ years of experience in database administration, data engineering, or a related fieldStrong knowledge of PostgreSQL: performance tuning, indexing, backups, query optimizationSolid understanding of ETL processes and data pipeline fundamentalsSQL fluency; scripting ability (e.g. Python or bash) for automation is a plus but not requiredExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to data qualityProficiency in English, with strong communication skillsWhat You’ll Get From UsA competitive salary and benefits package with full health coverageFree Spanish classes and optional afterwork sports activitiesOpportunities for professional growthA diverse role within a dedicated international team of enthusiastic colleaguesOffice with an amazing view of the beach#J-*****-Ljbffr

3+ years of experience in database administration, data engineering, or a related field Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL: performance tuning, indexing, backups, query optimization Solid understanding of ETL processes and data pipeline fundamentals SQL fluency; scripting ability (e.g. Python or bash) for automation is a plus but not required Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to data quality Proficiency in English, with strong communication skills
