Job description
As a Lead Software Engineer I, you are key in the design, testing, and maintenance of our proprietary software, RED, as well as our customer-facing portals. Your goals are to make the company more efficient and provide better customer service through technology., * Provide full object-oriented development capabilities for our core business applications, including data layer integration, domain-level functionality and logic, and web presentation and availability - including security.
- Investigate and address technical issues as they arise while keeping stakeholders informed and updated with progress.
- Mentor junior resources and make yourself available to demonstrate and recommend best practices.
- Contribute to design and planning discussions from a perspective of high scalability and maintainability for our software solutions.
Requirements
- 4-year college degree in CS (or related field) or similar, relevant technical experience.
- 5+ years of proven experience developing web and client-server solutions.
- Expertise in the following languages is required: C# and SQL.
- Experience with an ORM is preferred, ideally Entity Framework and LINQ.
- Experience with .NET and related tooling such as dependency injection, API authorization, and repository design patterns.
- Technical lead experience including the ability to coordinate the development efforts of a small team.

- Can prioritize multiple projects, while meeting deadlines and quality expectations.
