Job description

GovCIO LLC seeks a Senior Computer Network Architect to design and modernize secure, high-availability network infrastructures for federal agencies. You’ll lead architecture for LAN/WAN, cloud, and hybrid environments; implement zero-trust and advanced security controls; and optimize performance for mission-critical systems. Partner with cybersecurity, cloud, and software teams to deliver scalable, compliant solutions. Mentor engineers, produce architecture artifacts, and support modernization roadmaps in a collaborative, mission-driven, and fast-paced federal IT environment., * Design and document secure, scalable network architectures for federal agency environments

  • Lead implementation and optimization of LAN/WAN, cloud, and hybrid network solutions
  • Implement and maintain zero-trust, segmentation, and advanced security controls
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity, cloud, and application teams on integrated solutions
  • Monitor and tune network performance, availability, and resiliency for mission systems
  • Ensure compliance with federal security and networking standards and policies
  • Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex network issues
  • Mentor and guide junior network engineers and administrators
  • Produce architecture diagrams, standards, and technical documentation
  • Support roadmap planning and modernization initiatives for government clients
