Network Architect-Must Reside in Pittsburgh PA in Pittsburgh

This is a senior-level role focused on enterprise network architecture, security, cloud transformation, resiliency, and modernization. We are looking for someone with at least 7 years of enterprise networking experience who has progressed beyond day-to-day network administration into network design and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design secure, scalable, and resilient enterprise network solutions

• Lead network modernization and cloud transformation initiatives

• Architect network solutions across cloud and on-premise environments

• Provide technical leadership for network security, architecture, and infrastructure projects

• Lead integration of new technologies into the enterprise environment

• Establish network architecture, security standards, and best practices

• Design network automation and orchestration solutions

• Support network resiliency, disaster recovery, and business continuity

• Evaluate emerging network, cloud, security, and automation technologies

• Partner with security, infrastructure, architecture, risk, and business teams

• Provide architectural review and guidance for major technology initiatives

• Minimum 7 years of enterprise networking experience

• Strong network architecture and enterprise network design experience

• Experience with cloud and on-premise network environments

• Strong network security background

• Experience with routing, switching, firewalls, network protocols, segmentation, and enterprise connectivity

• Experience designing highly available and resilient network environments

• Knowledge of network automation and orchestration

• Experience leading major network implementations or transformation projects

• Strong understanding of IT risk, security controls, change management, and network administration

• Excellent communication and technical leadership skills

• 3+ years owning or designing enterprise-level architecture changes

• Banking, financial services, or other regulated-industry experience

• Cisco, Arista, Juniper, Fortinet, or similar certifications

• Agile SAFe experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience

Salary: $150,000 - $180,000

Candidates must currently reside in the Pittsburgh, PA area.
