Our client’s mission is to ensure millions receive timely, accurate pension payments and support. As a Test Automation Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of this mission-empowering the ICT department to deliver robust, reliable applications that underpin social security and financial well-being. Your expertise will directly influence the quality, security, and efficiency of systems that matter to every citizen. What You’ll Be Doing

• Design, document, and execute comprehensive integration and end-to-end (E2E) test plans for both monolithic and modular applications.
• Collaborate with business and development teams to define acceptance criteria for each increment, optimizing and evolving test strategies.
• Automate test execution, both hands-on and by guiding implementation, ensuring continuous improvement in test coverage and reliability.
• Maintain and enhance existing integration and E2E test cases, proactively identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Assess, prioritize, and communicate the criticality of detected bugs, driving swift and precise resolutions.
• Provide critical feedback throughout the analysis and development process, championing quality at every stage.
• Lead user acceptance testing, ensuring solutions meet real-world needs and expectations.
• Act as Scrum Master for your team, organizing and facilitating agile rituals, and fostering an “inspect and adapt” culture.
• Serve as Domain Quality Steward, promoting test best practices across multiple teams and ensuring consistent quality standards.

• Advanced expertise in test definition, acceptance criteria, and test plan creation/execution.
• Proven mastery of test automation methodologies and best practices.
• Advanced SQL skills (including joins, deltas, and medium-complexity queries).
• Hands-on experience with test frameworks and understanding of test levels and responsibilities.
• Proficiency in Java (writing and maintaining test code).
• Active knowledge of version control systems (GIT).
• Experience in agile environments, particularly Scrum.
• Working knowledge of XML and REST/SOAP interfaces.
• Familiarity with tools such as Playwright, Cucumber (for DDD test writing), Postman/Bruno, Jira, Miro, and Opengrok.
• Recent experience in testing complex payment, accounting, or calculation systems.

• Experience in public sector or social security systems is a major asset.
• Active knowledge of REST and SOAP exchanges is beneficial.
• Ability to clearly articulate best practices for automated test creation in your CV.

Language Proficiency

• Advanced proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required.
