Senior Platform Engineer

As a Platform Engineer, you’ll design, build, and maintain our Internal Developer Platform (IDP) and cloud infrastructure-enabling engineering teams to ship high-quality software faster and more reliably., * Build and evolve self-service tooling, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes clusters, and cloud environments (Azure)

• Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform and Ansible, alongside GitOps workflows
• Create “golden paths” and “paved roads” to reduce cognitive load and improve developer experience
• Monitor, optimise, and ensure security, scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency of the platform
• Collaborate with SRE, Security, and application teams to define standards and best practices
• Automate repetitive tasks and reduce toil through tooling, documentation, and runbooks
• Drive adoption of modern platform practices such as observability, progressive delivery, and chaos engineering

• Empathetic toward developers and passionate about reducing friction
• Comfortable with ambiguity and able to drive initiatives end-to-end
• Energised by a fast-paced environment
• Curious and committed to continuous learning and knowledge-sharing
• A strong communicator with a sense of ownership and a bias for action, * 3+ years’ experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure roles
• A proven track record of building and scaling production-grade systems
• Experience working in agile teams with fast iteration cycles
• Exposure to large-scale deployments supporting 100+ developers or multiple product teams
• Strong troubleshooting skills across distributed systems, with a focus on performance and cost optimisation
