ALTER TECHNOLOGY TÜV NORDAre you passionate aboutnavigation technologies, GNSS systems and wireless communications?At ALTER TECHNOLOGY TÜV NORD, we are looking for aRadio & Navigation Systems Technical Leadto drive the development of new testing capabilities in navigation and radio technologies, contributing to innovative projects acrossSpace, Defense, Security, Transportation and Industrial sectors.This is a unique opportunity to lead the creation of anew maritime GNSS testing laboratorywithin a European innovation project and play a key role in shaping the future of our testing and certification services.Your missionLead the design, implementation and deployment of a new maritime GNSS testing laboratory.Develop testing methodologies, procedures and technical documentation.Analyze regulations and standards related to navigation systems, GNSS technologies and radio equipment.Define laboratory capabilities, equipment and investment needs to support future service development.Contribute to innovation projects focused on Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PNT) technologies.Provide technical support to customers and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.Drive the development of new testing services and technical expertise within the laboratory.What were looking forDegree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Physics or a related discipline.Experience in RF, GNSS, navigation systems or wireless communications.Knowledge of PNT (Positioning, Navigation and Timing) technologies.Experience with Galileo, EGNOS and Satellite-Based Augmentation Systems (SBAS) is highly valued.Experience in testing laboratories or ISO/IEC ***** environments is a plus.Hands-on experience with RF instrumentation such as Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Vector Network Analyzers and Communication Testers.Ability to interpret technical regulations and transform requirements into practical testing solutions.Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills and proactive attitude.Fluent English.What we offerFlexible working hours to support your work-life balanceHybrid model: up to 2 days remote work per week or 9/80 schedule (depending on role)Continuous learning through internal training and development programsAttractive benefits package including:Life insuranceFlexible compensation (tax benefits on private health insurance)Sports club accessA multicultural and multidisciplinary work environmentExposure to cutting-edge technologies and innovation projectsCompetitive fixed salary24 working days of vacation + additional days (Birthday, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve, Easter)

Requirements

Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Physics or a related discipline. Experience in RF, GNSS, navigation systems or wireless communications. Knowledge of PNT (Positioning, Navigation and Timing) technologies. Experience with Galileo, EGNOS and Satellite-Based Augmentation Systems (SBAS) is highly valued.
