Identity and Access Management Administrator

• Creating and maintaining user identities and accounts
• Managing user groups, permissions and access levels
• Supporting IAM systems including Google Identity and Active Directory
• Processing access and identity requests through the IT ticketing system
• Ensuring users have the appropriate access for their role
• Maintaining accurate IAM records and documentation
• Troubleshooting and escalating identity and access-related issues
• Working with the wider IT Security team to ensure access controls and processes are followed

This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in IT support, service desk or IT security who is looking to develop their experience within Identity & Access Management.

Previous commercial IAM experience isn’t essential. We’re more interested in someone with good fundamental IT knowledge, excellent attention to detail and a genuine interest in IT security and access management., * Has some experience within IT support, service desk, IT administration or a similar environment or an IT/cyber security related degree or qualification

• Has a genuine interest in Identity & Access Management and IT security
• Has strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Is comfortable working with systems, data and defined processes
• Has good communication and problem-solving skills
• Is organised and able to manage a workload of tickets and requests
• Any exposure to Active Directory, Google Identity or user account administration would be useful, but isn’t essential

This could particularly suit someone working in Service Desk or IT Support who is looking for an opportunity to move into IT Security/IAM, or a recent IT/Cyber Security graduate looking to gain commercial experience.

This is an initial six-month contract and an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on IAM experience within an established IT Security team.
