Job description

Описание: Graphcore develops hardware, software and systems infrastructure for AI compute, enabling scalable AI solutions and supporting the adoption of AI across industries., * Build the cloud platform that turns Graphcore AI systems into usable, scalable services

Develop and deploy private and public cloud services for AI compute
Operate and extend OpenStack-based services
Automate deployment with infrastructure-as-code
Improve observability across the fleet
Benchmark, validate and optimise systems spanning Graphcore hardware, servers, switches and storage
Keep critical infrastructure available
Help pre-release hardware and software become reliable cloud services
Shape how internal users and customers access large-scale AI systems
Work with Software Platform, Datacentre Operations, Product Development, Engineering and QA
Take responsibility for unclear problems and make progress without waiting for perfect inputs
Use metrics, benchmarks, user impact and system behaviour to support decisions
Surface risks early and own corrective actions when systems need attention

Requirements

Relevant degree or equivalent practical experience
Proven ability to scope and deliver technical infrastructure work
Experience operating on-premises or private-cloud environments
Strong ownership of end-user availability
Strong Linux system administration and scripting skills
Experience with Bash and Python
Hands-on experience deploying services with Infrastructure-as-Code
Practical understanding of cloud foundations, including virtualisation, virtual networks, block storage, monitoring and observability
Experience using Git, CI or testing pipelines and container tools
Clear communication when supporting users
Legal right to work in the UK
