Do you want to help prepare students in international business management for the world of tomorrow? Do read on in that case!, As a lecturer, you will contribute to the growth process of our students as driven professionals. You reflect on new learning content and teaching methods, guide students as part of their learning process, give feedback and evaluate their growth.
Your duties:
- You teach digital skills and ICT related courses in Year 1, on campus and/or online.
- Developing content for a new Applied AI in Business course in Year 2 and/or doing Project coaching is an optional addition to this role.
- Supporting lecturers with digital content development including microlearning (e.g. knowledge clips) is an optional addition to this role.
- You establish positive relationships and communicate effectively with students, internship and project coordinators and company mentors.
- You encourage and support students to develop themselves and to achieve the desired competencies. You seek solutions to deal with diversity within student groups in a result-oriented manner.
- You provide students with feedback to help them achieve their academic goals.
- You teach/coach in one of our campuses - Groenplaats, Zuid, Pothoek - and/or online.
Requirements
The degree programme International Business Management (IBM) is an English-taught bachelor’s degree programme. The programme has 3 specialisations: Global Business, Global Supply Chain Management and International Entrepreneurship. We are looking for an ICT lecturer., * You have a strong understanding of the digital (and business) world.
- You use your knowledge and experience to motivate students and provide customised guidance.
- You have the ability to guide students in their learning process by using hands-on methods and a coaching style.
- You are a team player. You have strong communication and collaboration skills.
- You are convinced of the importance of lifelong learning and stay up to date with new developments and trends in ICT and education, incorporating them into your teaching methods.
- You can use AI applications in the execution of your work including digital teaching. At KdG, we work with the current Office365 package, the Canvas learning management system and the e-student service digital platform.
- You have minimum 2 years of teaching experience.
- You have worked in an international environment.
In addition, you hold a Master’s degree in a business-related or ICT field.
The English-taught degree programmes at KdG require a C1 diploma for English. As a non-native Dutch speaker, you have a B2 for Dutch or are willing to acquire it as soon as possible.

- A part-time assignment as a contractual employee. You start on 1 October 2026 with a one-year contract, with the intention of extending (after positive evaluation).

- We reimburse 100% of your travel expenses if you use public transport for your commute. You will be paid a €0.21/ km bicycle allowance if you commute by bike.
