Job description

Are you an experienced professional ready to take your career to the next level? At Accenture the Netherlands, we’re seeking AI Security (Senior) Consultant who bring deep expertise, strategic thinking, and a passion for innovation to help us solve complex challenges and deliver exceptional results.

We are open to candidates coming from either of the directions below. You do not need to be strong in both - but you should be clearly strong in one.

A. AI for Security, industry-focused. You understand how AI changes the way security work gets done, and you can apply that to a specific industry context - financial services, public sector, healthcare, or another regulated sector. You know the operating models and the regulatory pressures of your sector, and you can articulate the value AI brings for clients in that space.

B. Secure AI, implementation-focused. You come from a more technical background and are interested in how organizations securely adopt and deploy AI. You engage credibly with engineering and MLOps teams, assess the security posture of AI systems, and help clients build AI capability that does not create new risk faster than it delivers value.

What you’ll do:

  • Deliver client engagements across AI security assessment, advisory, and implementation support, with increasing ownership as you develop.
  • Assess and improve the security of AI systems, applying frameworks such as the OWASP LLM Top 10 and MITRE ATLAS to real client environments, identifying gaps and recommending practical remediation.
  • Support AI-native security delivery, contributing to Cyber.AI deployments and agent-based security workflows alongside forward-deployed engineers.
  • Translate between technical and business audiences, explaining AI security risk to a CISO and translating control requirements for a development team, often in the same week.
  • Translate regulatory frameworks such as DORA, NIS2 and the EU AI Act into concrete client requirements and solution designs for AI systems.
  • Advise clients on securing AI across people, process, and technology, not technology alone.
  • Contribute to methodology, assessment tooling, sector-specific points of view, and business development including proposals and RFPs.

Requirements

  • Education: Education: Master’s degree in a relevant field - computer science, cybersecurity, information security, artificial intelligence, engineering, or similar.
  • Experience: Approximately 3-6 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, technology consulting, security engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Skills: Working understanding of AI and machine learning systems - you do not need to have trained models, but you should understand how LLM applications, RAG architectures, and agentic systems actually work. Solid cybersecurity foundation across frameworks, controls, and risk assessment. Understanding of the intersection between securing AI and the responsible use of AI. Ability to engage credibly with engineering and MLOps teams. Strong structuring and communication skills.
  • Leadership: Genuine curiosity about AI security as a discipline. This field changes monthly; the role suits someone who stays current because they want to, not because they have to. Comfort with ambiguity, and the confidence to form a view and defend it.

Bonus points for:

  • Consulting or professional services background.
  • Dutch language proficiency.
  • Depth in a specific industry vertical - financial services, public sector, healthcare, or another regulated sector - and the ability to articulate the value AI brings for clients in that space.
  • Hands-on technical experience with AI systems, cloud security, or DevSecOps toolchains.
  • Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CompTIA SecAI+, cloud security certifications, or equivalent).

Benefits & conditions

What we offer:

  • Work-Life Flexibility: 4x9 Workweek Option, Hybrid Working, FlexDay
  • Financial Well-being: Competitive Base Salary, MyBenefits Budget, Annual Bonus, Net Allowance, Employee Share Purchase Plan
  • Health & Wellness: Collective Health Insurance Scheme, Mental Health Support, Well-being Hub
  • Time Off & Leave: 26 Vacation Days, Special Leave Types (parental leave, partner leave, bereavement leave, and gender affirmation leave), Culture Days
  • Mobility & Commuting: NS Business Card, Mobility Budget (option to choose between electric bike, car lease, or public transport reimbursement)
  • Career Development: Performance Achievement Program, Learning & Development Platform, Guidance from People Leads
  • Inclusion, Diversity & Social Impact: Do Good Volunteer Program, I&D Networks, Refugee Talent Track
  • Culture & Community: Accentrics & Friday Drinks, Annual Accenture NL Party, Flat Organizational Hierarchy
