Java Software Engineer

We’re seeking a talented Java Developer to join a high-performing technology team delivering innovative solutions for large-scale, enterprise-level projects. Working within an Agile environment, you’ll play a key role in designing, developing and enhancing modern applications while collaborating with technical leads, testers and fellow developers to deliver high-quality software solutions., * Developing and maintaining Java-based applications and microservices.

• Contributing to solution design and system architecture discussions.
• Promoting best practices including Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration and Continuous Testing.
• Supporting the delivery of features across the full software development lifecycle.
• Mentoring and guiding junior developers within the team.
• Working closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.

• 2+ years’ commercial experience with Java (versions 8-17).
• Proven experience with Spring, Spring Boot and Spring MVC.
• Strong understanding of modern software engineering best practices.
• Experience developing and supporting microservices-based applications.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Salary: Up to £55,000 + excellent benefits package
