Job description

  • Lead and mentor Software and QA Engineers across multiple projects.
  • Design, specify and develop modern software solutions.
  • Build cloud-first applications using C#/ASP.NET Core and modern web technologies.
  • Develop front-end applications using TypeScript/React, ASP.NET MVC or Blazor.
  • Build resilient microservices and REST APIs, using messaging and cloud-based integration.
  • Design and develop applications across Azure, AWS or GCP.
  • Contribute to CI/CD, DevSecOps and Infrastructure as Code practices.
  • Work collaboratively within Agile and scaled Scrum teams.
  • Integrate emerging technologies, including AI-driven development.
  • Promote clean architecture, secure coding and engineering best practices.

Requirements

  • Strong commercial experience designing and developing software using C# or Java.
  • Experience with REST APIs, messaging, microservices and software design patterns.
  • Proven experience leading, mentoring and supporting software engineering teams.
  • Experience building user-facing web applications.
  • Strong understanding of clean code, clean architecture and modern engineering practices.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and cloud-native application development.
  • Experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub or Azure DevOps.
  • Understanding of application security, DevSecOps and secure coding practices.
  • Experience working within Agile environments.
