Senior Specialist, Implementation Engineer - Spain

Experteer Overview In this role you enable merchants to integrate Checkout.com payments seamlessly, guiding them from configuration to go-live and post-implementation support.You work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve integration issues, improve merchant satisfaction, and translate product improvements into actionable insights.The position sits at the heart of our merchant experiences, shaping reliable, scalable payments integrations for a global customer base.You’ll be part of a fast-moving fintech environment that values collaboration, curiosity, and impact.Compensaciones / Beneficios * Provide technical support to merchants during their implementation of Checkout.com payment processing technology * Answer integration-related questions across configuration, debugging, documentation, testing, go-live, and post-live support * Manage incidents related to integrations (investigation, troubleshooting, escalation, resolution, reporting, time tracking) * Collaborate with internal teams (Merchant Configuration, Sales, Account Managers, Merchant Care) to resolve issues during trials, integrations, or post-implementation support * Interact with Product teams to identify improvement ideas * Advise Manager on issues impacting customer satisfaction and recommend actions * Multitask across multiple projects and customer integrations * Maintain/update existing libraries/plugins used in integrations Responsabilidades * Technical support experience in a Tech/FinTech company * Understanding of API, REST, webhooks and logs * Strong coding skills in at least one language: Java, JavaScript, PHP, Python, Go, C# * Experience with Node.js, React is a plus * Knowledge in iOS/Android is a plus * Excellent communication skills and relationship-building * Ability to work in a customer-focused, target-driven environment * Fluency in Spanish and English (additional languages a plus) Requisitos principales * hybrid working model with flexible office days * opportunity for growth and impact * recognition for deliverables * collaboration-focused culture * global team exposure * fast-moving, ambitious environment
