Job description
The Design Engineer will focus on creating and improving engineering designs servicing multiple sectors including oil and gas, medical, aerospace, and other! This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet both technical and practical requirements.

- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to address technical challenges and drive continuous process improvements.
- Utilize engineering software and analytical tools to evaluate designs and support product development initiatives.
- Develop and maintain technical specifications, drawings, and related documentation in accordance with quality standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Assist with product development efforts, design reviews, and engineering calculations as needed.
- Investigate product performance issues and recommend corrective actions when appropriate.
- Support material selection, product enhancements, and other continuous improvement projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a 3.0 or higher GPA
- Prior engineering internship, co-op, or professional experience preferred.
- Experience using CAD/design software and standard business applications.
- Exposure to product design, manufacturing environments, and engineering best practices.
- Understanding of fabrication, machining, or other industrial production processes is a plus.
- Familiarity with simulation, modeling, and design validation tools is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and customer-facing teams.
- Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset and attention to detail.
Benefits & conditions
- Competitive salary between $65,000 and $75,000.
