Data Architect

Lioness Recruitment - Careers Handled with Care. A respected public sector organisation are looking for somebody with experience of data architecture and enterprise data models. This is a minimum 6 month contract with majority remote working and two days per week required on site in London.

Your main responsibility will be to lead on the design of data models and metadata systems. This will include providing an enterprise view of data that is well categorised and with clear standards that can be used for both technical and business application. You will also own the enterprise data model and continuously update it based on business change. This will include working with technical architects to ensure systems are designed in accordance with the appropriate data architecture.

• Proven track record in a data architecture role which included holding accountability for data modelling
• Experience of data modelling in support of software development
• Experience of mapping data between different systems
• Demonstrable ability of applying data standards
• Solid understanding of data architecture frameworks (i.e. TOGAF, DAMA) and their application in an enterprise
• Experience with Azure platform and tools (i.e. Purview) is highly desirable
