Avaya Engineer

We are looking for an Avaya Engineer to manage, maintain, configure, and troubleshoot Avaya-based telephony and contact center solutions. The role involves supporting voice infrastructure, resolving technical issues, and ensuring high availability and performance of communication systems., * Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Avaya telephony and contact center systems.

• Manage Avaya Aura, Communication Manager, Session Manager, and related components.
• Configure and support SIP, VoIP, extensions, trunks, and call routing.
• Monitor voice infrastructure and troubleshoot call-quality and connectivity issues.
• Perform system upgrades, patches, backups, and configuration changes.
• Support Avaya Contact Center and related applications where applicable.
• Work with network and infrastructure teams to resolve voice and connectivity issues.
• Analyze system logs and perform root-cause analysis for incidents.
• Maintain technical documentation, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Participate in system deployments, migrations, and integration projects.
• Provide technical support and ensure timely resolution of production issues.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Avaya Aura and Communication Manager.
• Hands-on experience with SIP, VoIP, RTP, TCP/IP, and telephony protocols.
• Experience with Avaya Session Manager and System Manager.
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and basic networking concepts.
• Experience with incident, change, and problem management processes.
