Job description

I’m looking for a AWS Cloud Platform Architect to support the design and delivery of a new cloud-first platform for a major media and entertainment organisation.

The project is focused on moving highly performance-sensitive professional workloads into AWS, with users needing to access powerful cloud-based workstations remotely without compromising performance or latency.

The two key requirements for this role are: AWS Networking + Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).

Requirements

Strong hands-on AWS architecture experience
Excellent AWS networking knowledge
VPC architecture and routing
AWS Direct Connect
Transit Gateway
Hybrid / remote connectivity
Amazon WorkSpaces, NICE DCV, Teradici, HP Anyware, Citrix or similar
Experience designing secure and performant remote-working environments
Strong architecture/design experience - HLD / LLD

Highly Desirable

GPU-backed cloud workstations
High-throughput AWS storage
Media, broadcast or post-production experience
AWS security / IAM knowledge

You’ll be working alongside experienced architects and engineers, taking complex user and application requirements and translating them into secure, scalable and high-performing AWS infrastructure.

The wider platform covers networking, storage, compute, identity, security and cost optimisation, with performance being a critical part of the project.
